CVPR Outreach Event

Jinwei co-organized two outreach events at CVPR 2022 with Noah Snavely, Shuran Song, and Philippos Mordohai. One event is called "CVPR Academy: Pre-Conference Workshop for First-Time Attendees". The workshop is intended for first-time colleget student attendees who have an interest in computer science or electrical engineering, and is designed to introduce participants to the world of artificial intelligence and computer vision. The other event is a high school outreach event, partnered with STEM NOLA, that welcomes a group of STEM NOLA summer camp participants to attend CVPR for a day.

Girl Scout Event

On Saturday, September 28, 2019, Louisiana State University hosted the Southeast Louisiana Girl Scout Believe in Girl (B.I.G.) Event in the Patrick F. Taylor Hall. The College of Engineering has organized over 40 STEM presentations and demonstrations. Jinwei and her group participated in the event by showcasing 3D cameras and displays.
